Synopsis

4 Rivers 6 Ranges is a Hindi Historical Action movie based on the Tibetan travel of Dalai Lama.

In 1959, As Chinese forces tighten their grip on Tibet under the ruthless General Tan, the 14th Dalai Lama's life hangs in the balance. A band of ordinary Tibetan men - Chushi Gangdruk (Four Rivers Six Ranges) - Rise as his unforseen protectors, guiding him through perilous mountain passes to safety into India. A powerful true story of faith, sacrifice and the quiet courage that saved a spiritual leader - and preserved a nation's soul. Based on the book "Flight at the cuckoo's behest" written by Dorjee Wangdi Dewatshang who is also the producer of the film.
